The Peloponnesian peninsula is known for its history and is famously rich with beautiful landscapes. Our route will go through the most interesting and wonderful places of the region where we’ll see the crystal clear Aegean Sea and mountain slopes of Kalavryta. By all means we’ll stop in historical locations – the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and Nafplion.

The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus is one of the best-preserved amphitheaters in the world. Besides, it still operates, annually hosting national and foreign troupes and various festivals. The theatre was built in 340 BC and preserved its appearance until the present. You’ll have an opportunity to come on the stage where 2000 years ago the most famous Ancient Greek poets and actors performed, to take a seat where once Hellenic emperors and rulers have sat, to walk along ancient buildings in the theatre neighbourhood and to savour its beauty and history.

After the tour over the Epidaurus theatre’s archeological area, we’ll head to Nafplion and visit fortress Palamidi soaring above the city. The fortress was built by the Venetians in 1687 and until now the travelers can walk over the preserved structures and savour their history.

Then we’ll go down to the city and take a walk along Nafplion’s pedestrian streets to learn the history of the city. Everyone interested may have lunch and buy souvenirs.
